About Me

Hello! I am so glad you are here. My name is Alyse La Monte, and I'm a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. At 5 years old I dressed up as a nurse for Halloween, but it wasn't until adulthood that I recognized nursing as my true calling. I've worked in healthcare for almost 20 years, and as a nurse in a variety of settings. 

My time spent as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit ignited my passion for increased access to mental health care. In the ICU, I experienced firsthand the ways in which untreated mental health affects people; from chronic medical issues, substance abuse, and poor outcomes. Additionally, I have seen what compassionate mental and behavioral support can help people achieve.

Life is messy and sometimes painfully hard. Showing up authentically for my patients is at the core of my practice. I look forward to getting to know you and providing you with strategies to foster positive mental health.
